Nicky Kirk was born and raised in Scotland, about 60 miles up the coast in Dundee. As someone who had always been interested in sports and wellbeing chiropractic and sports medicine was a natural choice for career and one which Nicky cares passionately about. It has taken him throughout North America, the Caribbean and Latin America as a speaker and educator where he found his niche teaching about sports performance and recovery. Nicky is still retained as a specialist advisor to the Gatorade Sports Science Institute as well as two sports performance companies in the USA. Nicky believes in life-long learning and as such, he does attend several conferences and seminars throughout the year. In addition, he does get called on to teach periodically on his specialist subjects which can occasionally lead to him being on the road during certain weekends.

After spending 8 years living and practicing in Puerto Rico, Nicky decided that 8 years was more than enough time to be spending away from his home and decided to return to Scotland, this time with a young family in tow. He is proud and humbled to have the chance to allow his two young boys to learn more about their heritage and roots whilst serving the local community of East Lothian over the coming year.

Having visited the practice and met the wonderful team at East Lothian Chiropractic, he is excited and pleased to be able to offer his services and is looking forward to meeting everyone. In particular he would like to thank Dr Clarke for creating such a wonderful working environment and to Dr Mason for his care and service to all of the patients over the last years.
